Go Ahead…Commit Me

Albert Einstein once said,

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.

If this quote is accurate (and I am inclined to believe that it is), I’m insane. Sad, but true. Insane. Certifiable. Seriously, go ahead and lock me up.

I constantly find myself repeating behaviors and expecting different outcomes, only to bombarded with the inevitable. (more…)

“Always Give God The Glory”

This video kills me…

It kills me because even though I agree with everything Colt shares, it usually quite awhile after my dreams are shattered to remember to “never question why things happen the way they do” and to “always give God the glory.” I am so impressed with his maturity and his boldness.

And sometimes I NEED motivation.

I love to create plans, concoct ideas, contemplate dreams. But if I am honest, I have a tendency to talk a big game. I sit on the sidelines, perfecting plays, coveting others’ talents, simply stalling…a virtual spectator in my own life.

So when my friend Alece asked us to choose one word that sums up what we want for ourselves in 2010…I decided mine would be ACTION!

In 2010, I am going to stop talking and start doing. (more…)
